Melissa Lin
Hi everyone! Iām Melissa (she/her), a fifth year in the BS/MS program. I was a TA for 8 quarters for a variety of courses (mostly CSE 312 and 122), the summer instructor for CSE 122 last summer, and I am currently the instructor for CSE 390z, a workshop course for CSE 311. After I graduate this spring, I'll be working as a software engineer in industry. Teaching has been such an important part of my time at UW, and I look forward to talking about it with you all!
Kai Daniels
Hi I am Kai! I graduated last year from the University of Washington and am currently a software engineer at Microsoft working in Azure Core doing Linux Repository Management (it's mostly just maintaining a content delivery platform and some caching stuff). Last summer I was a lecturer for the University of Washington for CSE 121 and had spent 3 years of my undergrad as a TA for 12x along with dipping my toes in TAing for 421. Outside of teaching, In my spare time I am an avid K-pop stan (aespa, NewJeans, and IZ*ONE to name a few) along with a Speech and Debate coach. I also love to go to raves/concerts, and have two small cats that are really really cute.
